PUTI AZALEA

プティ・アザレア

インドネシア出身、2018年日本移住。現在は京都でデザイナーを勤めています。最初の2年間は京都で日本語学校を通いながらアルバイトし日本語や日本での暮らして慣れていく。翌々年は大阪にあるキャラクターデザイナー専門学校に進学しました。2023年に無事卒業し京都に戻りました。日本生活に慣れていきながら外国人のニーズも一定把握できると思うのでそれを仕事に反映できると思います。お客様にとって価値のある商品のデザインを提供できると考えています。子供の頃からインターネットを使って遊びに勤しみ、いつしか学びへと昇華しデジタルデザインを追求してきました。特にPhotoshop15年やイラストレーションを10年など長い時間をかけて、更にアニメーションなど幅広くデザイン専門分野にアプローチしてきたので、その強みを活かし仕事にしたいと考えています。趣味はVTuber、旅行、カラオケ、ブログ、推し活、そしてもちろん絵を描くこと。

I started living in Japan from 2018 to learn Japanese language and culture. I am currently working as in-house designer in an company located in Kyoto.For the first two years, I attended a Japanese language school in Kyoto and worked part-time, getting accustomed to the language and life in Japan. The year after that, I went on to a character design school in Osaka. I graduated in 2023 and returned to Kyoto.As I became accustomed to life in Japan, I believe I will be able to understand the needs of foreigners to a certain extent, which I can reflect in my work. I believe I can design products that are valuable to customers. Since childhood, I have been playing online, which eventually evolved into learning and pursuing digital design. I have particularly focused on Photoshop and illustration for most of my life, and have also explored a wide range of design fields such as animation. I would like to utilize these strengths in my career.My hobbies includes VTubers, traveling, karaoke, blogging, as well oshikatsu and of course drawing.

私は、柔軟性と適応力を持ち、常に新しい環境や課題に対して前向きに取り組むことができます。趣味であるゲームやイラスト、旅行を通じて培った想像力や観察力を活かし、細部にまでこだわるデザインを追求しています。また、アニメに触れる中で日本文化への興味が深まり、独学で学んだりしております。その甲斐あって日本語、英語が日常会話ができるまだ上達しました。これらの経験を通して自分は好奇心から様々なことに適応できるので、仕事にもこの適応力をして興味の幅を広げていきたいです。

I am flexible and adaptable, and always approach new environments and challenges with a positive attitude. I pursue designs that pay attention to detail, utilizing the imagination and powers of observation I developed through my hobbies of gaming, illustration, and travel.My interest in Japanese culture also grew through my exposure to anime, and I have begun studying it on my own. Thanks to this, I have improved my Japanese and English to the point where I can now speak them in everyday conversation. These experiences have shown me that I can adapt to a variety of things out of curiosity, and I would like to use this adaptability in my work to broaden my range of interests.

これまでの職場では、自身がデザインを手がけた商品がどのようにお客様の手元に届くのかを現場で学ぶ機会があり、ものづくりの流れを深く理解することができました。また、外国人観光客が多い地域で、日本の伝統や文化を活かした商品デザインに携わっており、学生時代に学んだ知識を活かして商品化に取り組んできました。今後は、デザイン業務により深く携わることで、自分の感性と経験を活かし、日本文化の魅力を発信できる商品づくりに貢献していきたいと考えております。

At my current workplace, I had the opportunity to learn firsthand how the products I designed reach customers, which gave me a deep understanding of the manufacturing process.I was also involved in product design that utilized Japanese traditions and culture in areas with a high number of foreign tourists, and I used the knowledge I learned as a student to help commercialize the products.In the future, by becoming more deeply involved in design work, I would like to utilize my sensibilities and experience to contribute to the creation of products that convey the appeal of Japanese culture.
